Illness Policy

Students should be kept at home if  they are not feeling well due to any illness or if they show evidence of a rash, fever, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours

A physician should see a student with a fever combined with other symptoms to rule out flu, COVID-19, or a Strep Infection.  A physician should be seen for any unexplained rash. Please remain home for the number of days directed by your physician.

A doctor's note must be sent to school upon the child's return.

If the child has a contagious illness or disease, the office needs to be notified immediately so parents and teachers may be alerted to watch for symptoms in other students.
