While the majority of St. Peter School students are Catholic, families of all faiths are welcome and are represented at the school. Non-Catholic students are expected to be respectful and participate in religious education including classes and attendance at liturgies.
Faith Formation at St. Peter School does not stop at the classrooms. Throughout the year students prepare for the Sacraments and demonstrate their faith in various ways. In addition, participation in charity, service and social justice projects brings their faith into action.
Catholic 2nd Graders prepare for and make their First Penance in a special service with their families.
Catholic 2nd Graders receive preparation for the Sacrament of First Communion.
Throughout the Lenten season, on Friday mornings, students and faculty gather for a 7:00AM Mass.
Immediately following Mass, students walk to the cafeteria where the have the option of purchasing juice, milk, and other prepackaged food items.
At 8:00AM students have recess outdoors or in the cafeteria depending on the weather.
