Open Positions

The 2nd Grade Teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a standards-based instructional program that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, student-centered, and skilled at building strong relationships with students and families.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Design and deliver engaging lessons in all core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies) aligned with state standards.
  •  Create a positive and structured learning environment that supports students’ academic and social-emotional development.
  •  Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  •  Use assessments and data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and families.
  •  Maintain consistent communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
  •  Collaborate with grade-level team members and support staff to plan curriculum and activities.
  •  Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
  •  Live out the gospel values and teachings of the Catholic Church in teaching and interaction with students and staff

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Education required or related field
  •  Experience teaching in a school setting
  •  Knowledge of current instruction methodologies and assessments
  •  Strong communication and collaboration skills
  •  Commitment to student success and equity in education


We are hiring a part-time Teaching Aide (2 days per week) in our PreK-4 classroom for the 2026/2027 school.  The ideal candidate will show an understanding of how to support early childhood students, be committed to Catholic education and the mission of our school, and be willing to work as part of a team with the faculty and staff of St. Peter School.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with classroom management
  • Organize instructional materials
  • Provide assistance in itinerant classes
  • Clean and organize classroom toys and manipulatives
  • Partner with the Lead PreK-4 teacher in ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.


Qualifications

  • Understanding of how to work with early childhood students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to student success and equity in education


The Math Resource Teacher will work with students in grades K–8 who require additional support in mathematics, helping them build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and achieve academic success. The ideal candidate is a compassionate educator who enjoys working with students of varying abilities, collaborates effectively with classroom teachers and families, and is committed to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted math instruction and intervention to students in grades K–8 through small-group and individual support.
  • Assess student needs and develop instructional strategies that address individual learning goals in mathematics.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students requiring math intervention and coordinate instructional support.
  • Foster a positive, supportive learning environment that builds confidence and promotes student success.
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and the administration regarding student progress and instructional plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention services.
  • Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
  • Live out the gospel values and teachings of the Catholic Church in teaching and interaction with students and staff


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Certification or endorsement in Elementary Education, Mathematics, Special Education, or Reading/Math Intervention preferred.
  • Experience providing math intervention, resource support, or differentiated instruction for elementary and middle school students.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
